Jesus... if this turns into a "blog" I'm in deep shit!

Well, a few developments at least! Not all of them good though

Good news first though! I've started collecting images and ideas for a new icon-set which will hopefully develop into a whole system theme depending on if i have the time / energy to do it!

I finally got my sorry ass out to a shop and got a decent mouse! Photoshop and trackpads just don't gel!
And I got a decent external HDD so i can time machine my current setup and have a crack at my developers beta of Snow Leopard WOOT!

And this brings me onto the bad news...

Finally, after the long months of borrowing mine all the sodding time (love you really) my fiancé decided it was high time she bought a mac So off we went to the Apple store in all it's shiny goodness and she picks out a unibody/aluminium macbook (upstaging me . . .) After a trip home, much procrastination and a brisk walk back, she parts with the legal-tender.

We bounce back home, her excitement evident in her voice!

We get home.

She runs through the setup process.

She downloads all the updates...

She restarts........

She clicks Facebook......

... it dies.

Power it back on and all you get is three beeps. The bloody RAM is faulty.
After months of me raving about Apple reliability, they blow me away in one fell swoop.
Back to the shop tomorrow for her and if I don't come home to a happy fiancé and a working, nice shiny macbook violence will be ensuing!


Ok, rant over, time for food!
